Daruvu Movie Review,Raviteja Daruvu Movie Review,Daruvu Telugu Movie Review
Director: J.Siva Kumar
Producer: Burugupalli Shiva Rama Krishna
Music Director: Vijay Antony
Cast:Ravi Teja as Bullet Raja, Tapasee Pannu, Bramananda
Synopsis:
Chitra Gupta (MS Narayana) gets vexed up with Yamadharma Raja (Prabhu)  and is on a look out for a right person for revenge. He zeros in Bullet Raja (Ravi Teja) and makes sure that Raja gets killed in the next few days, though he is entitled for the full life of 100 years. Raja goes to Yamalokam and realizes that he is unjustly killed. By the time Yama realizes the mistake, Ravi’s body will be burnt. So, he introduces Ravi Teja in to the body of a home minister who exactly has the facial features of Ravi Teja. Ravi Teja’s soul in enters his body and finally fights for good and abolishing corruption. What happens later forms the actual story..
Performances:
Ravi Teja is the one man army of the movie and he carried out the entire movie on his shoulders. His energy, body language, funny expressions and one liners will be enjoyed by the masses.
Tapsee was dazzling as usual and her hot presence gives good feast to the eyes. However, she had very little screen space and has to do a lot of home work on her expressions. She is mostly confined to songs. Brahmi as Vidya Balan is one of the major highlights of the movie and it is no exaggeration to call him an asset to the movie..
MS Narayana, Vennela Kishore, LB Sri Ram are good in little roles they are offered.
Technical Performances:
Earlier, Gunashekar and Ramesh Varma tread different path with Nippu and Veera and failed miserably, And now Siva is no different. He seem to have learnt the lessons only partially. Therefore decided to stick to the successful formula than to experiment  but failed in executing it. He prepared a script that perfectly suits Ravi Teja’s body language and his mimicking abilities. The story plot is almost similar to every Yama story that came in Telugu but let the audience down with overboard comedy.
Dialogues by Ramesh Gopi and Anil Ravipati are impressive. Vetri’s cinematography is good . Gowtam Raju editing is fine. Vijay Anthony music is good even if he had used all the tunes of his Tamil movies. Background score is not bad. Production values are awesome.
Final Say:
Ravi Teja’s films are essentially enjoyable on screen thanks to good songs and hilarious sequences even though they lacked substance or a logical plot. Curiously, fans do not get bored of seeing his routine stuff again and again as far as the entertainment is guaranteed but even though Daruvu focused on exploiting the comedy, the director failed to utilize the energy of Ravi Teja to the fullest.  At the box office, the B, C Centers will have a good response and Ravi Teja fans will be in for some entertainment. The chances of success looks very bleak for this one.
