Nayanathara To Direct Ajith

After receiving accolades for her role in 'Sri Rama Rajyam', Nayanathara has been aiming for a strong come back in Tamil films. Buzz says, Nayanathara is going to enthrall the audience not only with her acting skills, but also with her directorial skills. Currently, she is doing a film opposite to Ultimate Star Ajith under the direction of Vishnuvardhan. Sources say, Nayanathara is working as an assistant director under Vishnuvardhan and she has taken up her job very seriously. Unit members seems to be surprised by actress's dedication towards the work and are in an opinion that Nayanathara may direct a film with Ajith in future.

Powerstar Expecting a Respectable Reception

Although Kollywood audiences fondly call him Thala, "Power star" would be the apt title for Superstar Ajith Kumar. He is the king of openings in Tamilnadu. Every film of his takes an earth shattering opening and sets new records. Hit or flop doesn't bring his craze down. Fans go berserk to see him on screen and despite numerous flops Ajith still rules Kollywood box office.

If we have to compare him with one of our heroes, Ajith is like Pawan Kalyan of Tamilnadu. He has fans in all the sections and especially he has diehard fans among youngsters. However, like Pawan Kalyan who couldn't expand his market into other states, even Ajith failed to conquer Andhra Pradesh like other big stars of Tamilnadu.

Except for Prema Lekha none of his films did well here. Even Vaali was just average. Few of his Tamil blockbusters ended up as super flops in Telugu including the recently released Gambler (Mankatha). Now, Ajith is coming back as David Billa and is hoping for a respectable reception from our audience. Billa 2 is releasing in record centers in Tamilnadu and is making huge buzz there. But there is absolutely no sound from David Billa amidst the resounding buzz that is being made by Eega. Can the super star of other state get a decent opening in AP? Come Friday and we get to see!
